In the first set Galatasaray of Alikaya started well with 4:10. It secured the lead (12:18) and Fenerbahce did not manage to lower the difference in score. Galatasaray closed the set in its favor with 21:25. In the second set Fenerbahce secured a big advantage in result of 18:9 and won with 25:17. The team of Ze Roberto had difficulties in the third set, when Galatasaray needed one point to close the set (23:24). However, it won with 29:27 thanks to the error of Calderon. In the fourth set Fenerbahce easily defeated its rival with 25:16.
