Halkbank players visit Anadolu headquarters

The countdown to the Final Four Tournament of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men has started in Turkey’s capital city and one week away from the major highlight of the season the players and the coaching staff of Halkbank ANKARA paid visit to the country’s largest news agency, Anadolu.

The Deputy General Manager and Chief Editor of Anadolu Omer Eksi said: “We are very happy to host the players of Halkbank at our headquarters. I hope you will be able to achieve the goals you have set for the upcoming Final Four and that at the end of the weekend Anadolu will announce to the world, and in seven different languages, your victory.” Mr. Eksi also briefed his guests on the corporate vision developed by Anadolu in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary since its establishment. 

“Last season we won the CEV Volleyball Cup but this year we have raised the bar even higher” said Halkbank Spor Board member Mehmet Tufekci. “We have transferred world-class players and we will be doing our best in order to win the trophy of the CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League.”

“We are about to play the strongest teams in Europe,” pointed out head coach Radostin Stoytchev. “I want to thank the management of our club for bringing this Final Four here to Ankara. We will play some of the world’s best teams. We respect them all but we are ready to play our best. We are not afraid of anyone and we are looking forward to playing our opponents from Poland and Russia.”
