Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta and Ziraat Bankkart came to just one point to the leaders of the 2021/22 Turkish Men’s Volleyball Championship, Halkbank.
Fenerbahçe HDI Sigorta and Ziraat Bankkart remained tied in the number of points at 22 after today’s matches of Round 9 of the 2021/22 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi and both came to a point from the leaders Halkbank which, hand to heart, played one game less than a duo.
Fenerbahçe struggled with Yeni Kızıltepe but prevailed in four sets, partially 25-17, 24-26, 25-23, and 25-19. Metin Toy top-scored the winning side with 21 points, including four aces.
Ziraat also faced underdogs and also struggled. The Ankara club, the titleholders, beat Allpower Akü Cizre Bld. 3-1, with 23 points (five blocks) from Bulgarian Martin Atanasov.
Spor Toto notched the third win in a row. Led by Iranian Morteza Sharifi (19 points, including four aces and four blocks), they proved better than Bingöl Solhan Spor – 3-0 (27-25, 25-16, 25-17).
