The winter transfer campaign of the Turkish men’s volleyball top division side Bursa B.şehir Bld. continued.
Bursa continued strengthening their roster during winter break. After hiring the setter of the Brazilian club champions Vôlei Funvic Natal, the participants of the 2021/22 AXA Sigorta Efeler Ligi closed the deal with the Cuban opposite hitter Rolando Cepeda.
The 32-year-old former captain of his country’s national team started the season in Kuwait’s Kuwait Sporting Club. Cepeda has already played in Turkey on two occasions: in İnegöl Bld. (2018/19; his competitive return after serving the prison sentence in Finland) and Sorgun Bld. last season.
