After tie-break victory over Istanbul BB, HalkBank presented much better performance in the second round of Turkish Cup and swept away Maliye Piyango 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-21).

Halks were led by tandem Kaziyski–Juantorena who scored 34 points all together (19+15). On the other side, Gjorgijev made 25 points for Maliye Piyango, but in vain.
Later this day, Fenerbahce will face Istanbul BB.
