After the Turkish Super Cup and the FIVB Club World Championship, VakıfBank also took home the Turkish Cup (2021/22 Kadınlar AXA Sigorta Kupa Voley), and can now focus on winning the national league and the CEV Champions League.

In a great atmosphere at the Başkent Volleyball Hall in Ankara (6,000 spectators), Giovanni Guidetti’s team prevailed over Fenerbahçe Opet in a very close final match that lasted 5 sets, partially 21-25, 25-21, 25-13, 27-29, and 17-15 to clinch the 8th overall title in the competition, the 2nd in a row. The ladies commanded by Zoran Terzić canceled a match point at 23-24 in the 4th set, then 3 more in the tie-break, but in the end, they succumbed to the yellow-and-blacks.

The Swede from VakıfBank, Isabelle Haak, showed a dreamlike performance, finishing the match with 44 points (!), including 5 aces, on her account, obviously taking the MVP award.
