The long-time captain of the Serbia Women’s Volleyball National Team, Maja Ognjenović, and Eczacıbaşı Dynavit are to separate before the expiration of the contract.
Despite having signed a two-year contract last year, Ognjenović could part ways with Turkey’s Eczacıbaşı.
The news was released by several Turkish media a few days back but hasn’t yet received any official confirmation. The reasons for the departure of the veteran setter, a former long-time captain of the Serbia National Team, from the Istanbul side which she led to winning the gold medal in the CEV Cup this season, remain unknown for now.
