Galatasaray Daikin has emerged as the champions of the 2024 Women’s Volleyball Balkan Cup after defeating Greece’s PAOK with a dominant 3-0 victory (25-17, 25-21, 25-20). The tournament, hosted in Istanbul, saw the Turkish team sweep through the competition and secure the coveted title.
With this win, Galatasaray Daikin earned a spot in the CEV Challenge Cup. They will face Greece’s AO Thiras in the 32-team finals round of the prestigious tournament.
In addition to the title, several individual awards were given after the final match. Katarina Dangubić (Lazović) of Galatasaray Daikin was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.
