Fenerbahçe Medicana triumphed in the 2024 AXA Sigorta Women’s Champions Cup (AXA Sigorta Şampiyonlar Kupası) after a 3-1 win against Eczacıbaşı Dynavit in Istanbul’s Burhan Felek Vestel Volleyball Hall.
The match, which lasted 110 minutes, saw Fenerbahçe dominate with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-17, and 25-18. Melissa Vargas led Fenerbahçe with an impressive 28 points, earning the MVP award. Meanwhile, Eczacıbaşı’s Tijana Boskovic, despite scoring a match-high 29 points, couldn’t carry her team to victory.
Fenerbahçe now holds all three major Turkish titles for 2024—Super Cup, Cup, and Championship.
