Eczacıbaşı Dynavit delivered one of the most impresive performances of Round 9 in the Turkish Vodafone Sultanlar League, sweeping Zeren Spor 3–0 (25–22, 25–19, 25–19) and handing the visiting side a difficult setback as the first half of the season nears its midpoint.

Zeren struggled to match Eczacıbaşı’s tempo throughout the match, falling behind early in all three sets and failing to counter the home team’s strong serving and consistent blocking. The straight-sets defeat underlined the widening gap between Zeren and the league’s top teams, marking one of the club’s toughest outings of the season.

In other match in Istanbul, Galatasaray Daikin rallied from a one-set deficit to defeat Türk Hava Yolları 3–1 (23–25, 25–22, 25–13, 25–15).

Fenerbahçe Medicana extended its unbeaten run to nine matches with a convincing 3–0 win over İlbank (25–19, 25–16, 25–18). Arina Fedorovtseva led all scorers with 20 points as Fenerbahçe maintained full control from start to finish.

In the remaining fixtures, Nilüfer Bld. Eker defeated Kuzeyboru 3–1 (25–21, 27–25, 18–25, 25–18), while Göztepe edged Beşiktaş in a five-set contest 3–2 (20–25, 25–23, 25–23, 18–25, 15–10).

Zeren Spor’s loss stood out as the most lopsided result of the round, underscoring the challenges ahead as they look to regain momentum against increasingly competitive league opponents.
