VakıfBank kept perfect record intact in the Vodafone Sultanlar League defeating Fenerbahçe Medicana 3–2.

Fenerbahçe opened strong with a 25–14 first set, but VakıfBank answered in the second behind a serve run from Cansu Özbay and took the frame 25–21. The hosts regained control in the third set, 25–17, before VakıfBank forced a decider with a narrow 25–23 win in the fourth.
Marina Markova powered VakıfBank throughout the night, scoring 37 points, the highest of the match, while Tijana Bošković added 14. The defending champions held firm in the fifth set to close out the match 15–13 and extend their league winning streak to 21 matches.
VakıfBank coach Giovanni Guidetti praised his team’s resilience. “We never stop believing, we never stop fighting. We’re VakıfBank — we don’t give up,” he said.
Arina Fedorovtseva led Fenerbahçe with 26 points, followed by Melissa Vargas with 21.
