Squad of Giovanni Guidetti made strong performance at the start and won the first two sets quite easily. But, it was the third set in which VakifBank showed character of a true champion.
It was all tied at 16-16, and then Fenerbahce Grundig made a big run for 23-16! Everybody in the hall just waited for the fourth set… Everybody except VakifBank team.
Champions of Turkey made 9 consecutive points, performed a huge comeback and seized the Supercup trophy!
