“The match against Partizan was easy because there is a big difference between these two teams. I want to congratulate Partizan, they did amazing job with young team. I have a great respect for this club, coach and players. I’m happy how we played. We didn’t care if its 0:0 or 25:25. We played with the same focus, attitude, atmosphere and with enjoyment throughout the whole match.”
What do you expect until the end of Champions League?
“It will be very tight. This year, Champions League is on amazing level, there are lots of strong teams and we must be prepared for the next round. Reach the Final Four will be a great successful for everybody. There is a lot of great teams so we will go match by match.”
You have never tried to hide that you love working Serbian young players. Have you seen any new in Vizura?
“Many, but for sure the most talented is Boskovic. She is not only talented she is already a great player. Setter Mirkovic also did a great job, Busa, Rankovic and Lazovic, they are young but they have a good chance to become better. I believe that they have great potential and bright future.”
In one moment Bahar played as an opposite, was that the first time?
“No, she played as opposite before. I am trying something new because our second opposite is young. She is doing her job very good but in Champions League she is out of the team because I have four amazing players on “position 4”. When one blocker is out I want to try this solution so that we can change something in attack. China won the Olympic Games with three middle blockers on the court and I think that this can work. So, I am trying this option every time when I have a chance for that” said Guidetti.
