Elif Öner and Dicle Babat
On Wednesday night the ‘Yellow Angels’ will try to stretch their positive streak when they host the German champions at the Burhan Felek Volleyball Hall in an attempt to make the Playoffs 6 and take there on the eventual winners of the ‘clash of the titans’ starring VakifBank Istanbul and Russia’s Dinamo Kazan.
“At this stage of the competition you only get to play high-level teams,” says setter Nedime Elif Agca Oner. “Knowing this, we have been working really hard to prepare for the re-match with DRESDNER SC and I am confident that we can seize the night and progress to the next round of the competition.”
Middle blocker Dicle Nur Babat adds: “We won the previous match and are confident going into this game with DRESDNER SC. Our sole goal is to win this year’s Champions League. We hope that many fans will show up tomorrow to support us in our quest for a spot in the Playoffs 6.”
