Sarıyer – Fenerbahçe
“Yellow Angels” displayed a relaxed game against rivals and scored a 3-0 away victory, with partial 25-13, 25-17 and 25-19.
Fener started the match well with effective performances of Eda Erdem Dündar (14 points) and Madelaynne Montaño (23) for completion of the first set by 13-25.
The protégés of Marcello Abbondanza maintained its superiority in the second set as well (17-25).
The third set was also in control of “Yellow Angels” and it ended with a 3-0 victory (19-25).
Fenerbahçe claimed second place with 48 pts., approaching to only one point behind the leader in the standings, VakifBank İstanbul while the third Eczacıbaşı VitrA has 46.
Since the men’s team of Fener was relegated from the national Cup today, win of women’s section is certainly good news for the fans of the Turkish giants.
