Halkbank vs. Tirol
Tirol had lead in sets twice against Turkish runners-up and European giants Halkbank Ankara in away Pool D match of the CEV Champions League.
They even had 8-4 in Set 4, but remained short handed at the end 3-2 (23-25, 25-21, 30-32, 25-21, 15-12).
Kévin Le Roux scored 22 points as the most efficient player in the winning team while Lorenz Koraimann had 27 in Tirol.
In Pool C, Italian champions Diatec Trentino survived fiery atmosphere in Greece and inflicted second defeat in the competition to P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-21, 25-13).
Mitar Đurić was not generous to his compatriots as he led Trentino with 15 points. Rolando Cepeda collected 16 points in PAOK.
