Fenerbahce rule in Istanbul! Last week the women’s section of Fener defeated Galatasaray on the road, while today the men’s section did the same thing! Boys coached by Veljko Bašić triumphed in the big Istanbul derby, without losing a single set!
Alen Pajenk led the Fener crew with 13 points, while Guillaume Quesque added 11. On the other side, Melih Siratca scored 20 points for Galatasaray.
Unlike the women’s derby, the clash of the men’s teams passed without any incidents on the stands. That is some nice change…

Nobody understood what happened to Agamez. He just played a few minutes. I have never seen a Galatasaray team playing that badly for years, even Fenerbahce had better squad than us. Our receivers were pathetic, especially Yudin and Yasin. They both could not receive, hit the ball, or even serve the ball. The middleblockers were almost inexistant. Only Tervaportti, Can and young Melih played normally. Fenerbahce did nothing special, they just played their standard volleyball. We simply gave them a new year present.
And what is happening with Serbian receiver?
