Fans of ZiraatBank do not need to worry, because their club will remain in Ankara! There were some speculations that the team might be moved to Istanbul together with the bank, but the board members turned down that possibility.
“Even if we move the bank to Istanbul, the volleyball team will stay in Ankara. We have everything here, so there is no sense of moving the club to some other city” said club’s President Ali Kilic.
ZiraatBank is having a very good season. They are holding the 1st place in the CEV Champions League Pool B, while they are currently at the 3rd spot in the Turkish Championship.
