Eczacıbaşı vs. Vakif
VakifBank have opened match by winning uncertain first set 27-25! In another two sets, we saw the strong answer of the reigning champions! They simply destroyed Vakif, 25-18 and 25-10!
Guidetti’s side had to react and they somehow manage to raise level of play and to tie the score after stunning display in fourth set 25-14!
In decisive tie-break, VakifBank were more focused to win this amazing thriller. As we said, it’s not over yet. The second match will decided the winner of this clash.
Eczacıbaşı still have a chance for advancing to the next round. But, they will now have to win at VakifBank‘s court.
Lonneke Sloetjes led Vakif with 19 points, while Anne Buijs added 13 and Milena Rasic 12! On the other side, Rosir Calderon had 17 points and Neslihan 16!
