HalkBank vs. Istanbul
Four top placed teams from the Regular Season entered the final stage of the championship to fight for the title. HalkBank was marked as a clear favorite, in front of Arkas, Istanbul BB and Fenerbahce, but the Ankara powerhouse suffered a shocking defeat already in the opening round!
Istanbul BB triumphed against HalkBank after 5 sets and showed that the title race in Turkey will be super exciting.
The top scorers in the winning side were William Price with 20 points, Kadir Cin with 18 and Marko Matić with 13.
On the other side, Tsvetan Sokolov made 23 points for the Halks, Dick Kooy added 21, while Michal Kubiak finished the game with 18 points.
