İstanbul BBSK
İstanbul BBSK are the only team with perfect record after three rounds. In Round 3, they beat home team and title holders Arkas Spor 3-2 (20-25, 15-25, 25-21, 25-17, 15-10). Their venture is even greater since they were trailing 2-0 in sets.
Once again, American William Price stood out in İstanbul BBSK. He scored 24 points. Thus, he annulled monster performance of Frenchman Antonin Rouzier, on the other side – 29 points.
Fenerbaçe remained winless. Halkbank scalped them to level in number of points with İstanbul BBSK. Halkbank again played without Kévin Le Roux, who was not even in protocol (rule of the Turkish VF says 3 foreigners on court + 1 on the bench). The Dutch Dick Kooy had 24 points while Metin Toy noted 18 in ‘Fener’.
