Thus, ’Fener’ turned to her alternative – the Dutch Robin de Kruijf! She was one of the three major players that left the Turkish champions VakıfBank İstanbul. Allegedly, De Kruijf received a lucrative offer from one Japanese team before Fenerbahçe showed interest in her.
