“Actually we are quite a new team. Although just Zhu Ting arrived this year, we stayed without several players and we had little time to prepare for this tournament. That is why I think it was good that we played 4 sets against Hisamitsu Springs, as it was a real test for us. I think we did a pretty good job, but if we repeat some errors against Volero, we might suffer more serious consequences. We need to be better in that game.”
We asked Naz if she can compare this team to the one from the last year and which one is better according to her…
“I cannot such a comparison. I love Sheilla and Robin (De Kruijf) a lot, they are good girls and they gave us so much energy in the previous years. Still, they are not here anymore. We now have Zhu who won the Olympics… I can say that we are a little bit stronger than in the previous year.”
