Eczacibasi VitrA once again showed that their win in the CEV Champions League wasn’t accidental. Today, in also very important match of the Turkish Playoffs, they outplayed Fenerbahce 3-0 (26-24, 25-19, 25-22) and this victory is also dedicated to Thaisa.
Coach Massimo Barbolini decided to play this match with captain Neslihan instead of Serbian Tijana Bošković, he wanted her to rest for the next matches.
Top scorer was Neslihan Guler with 16 points followed by Rachael Adams with 11 in the winning team. For “Angels” Natalia Zilio Pereira scored 16 points and was the only one with double effect.
Next match is scheduled for April 12.
