The 6th round of the Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship Vestel Venus Sultanlar Ligi did not bring a single upset but has brought a little surprise at the top of the scoring list.

Seramiksan Turgutlu supposed to be the favorites from the shadow to win the title in Turkey but have a rather poor campaign so far. They suffered a fourth defeat in a row last weekend and, although it is still too early to draw any conclusions, they are far from interfering into the battle for the gold medal. But, as a slight consolation, their outside hitter/opposite Meryem Boz led the scorers of Round 6 and is at the very top of the league’s scoring list in general.

Halkbank Ankara and Fenerbahçe İstanbul players topped the blocking and serving list of the 6th round…
