FIN M: Heavy violation of volleyball rules – SEVEN players on the floor for one team! (VIDEO)

We really must ask ourselves – where was referee looking at during this rally in the Finnish Men’s volleyball Mestaruusliiga?!

 

During Game 1 of the playoff quarter-finals of the Finnish Championship between No.3 Sampo and sixth seed ETTA (3-1), two days ago, an unbelievable situation occurred on the floor. At one point, ETTA (a team that is making a serve in the video) had SEVEN players in rotation!

Of course, having one player more than allowed by the volleyball rules on the floor helped ETTA winning the rally…

It is Etta team that has too many players on the court, not Sampo.

The post never said it was sampo, read closer. However this just goes to show the awareness of the referees in finland. March 25, 2017 - 7:15 pm
