In the rematch last night, Jastrzębski achieved another straight-set win over Omonia, sending them to the 16th Finals of the CEV Cup. The way Polish side secured their berth in the Pool Stage of the Champions League was SUPERB.
The last point in the second set which brought them a ticket to the Pool Stage was a masterpiece. Some would call it as ridiculing the opponent, but Jastrzębski players simply wanted to show the action which they obviously worked out in the training – instead of receiving the first touch as most liberos would do, Jakub Popiwczak passed the ball to Maciej Muzaj for a back-row attack. WOW!
