ROAD TO RIO M: Japanese trio defeat Venezuela!

The Japanese volleyball national team have scored the first win at the World Olympic Qualifiers!

In front of home crowd, Japan down Venezuela despite losing the first set, 3-1 (26-28, 25-20, 25-19, 25-19).

The trio Shimizu, Ishikawa, Yanagaida has scored 55 points combined to defeat the Venezuelan team. Shimizu had 21, Ishikawa 19 and Yanagaida 15. On the other side Kervin Pinerua finished match with 17 points.

Tomorrow, Japan will play against China in Asian derby, while Venezuela will meet Australia.
