Bernardinho during race
In late 2014, the coach of Brazilian men’s national team and women’s team of Rexona/Ades, began to train to be a triathlete.
At the age of 55, the father of the setter Bruninho, did well to finish the triathlon race Sprint of Rio, on Sunday and made a lifelong dream true.

„I started pedaling to relieve the stress of competition and to get in shape. With the encouragement of friends, I signed up for triathlon. I started swimming, but still need to run a little better. I am pretty exhausted, but I did well in this challenge,“ said Bernardinho to globo.com after the race in which he swam 750m, cycled 20km and closed the event with 5km race.
