
Germany’s Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann claimed the women’s title at the Cape Town Elite, winning all six of their matches and dropping just one set. They topped the Netherlands’ Katja Stam and Raisa Schoon 2-0 (21-17, 25-23) for their third Tour gold, while fellow Germans Sandra Ittlinger and Anna-Lena Grüne took bronze after beating Latvia’s Tina Graudiņa and Anastasija Samoilova 2-1.
In the men’s draw, Sweden’s Jacob Holting Nilsson and Elmer Andersson captured their first Elite gold, defeating Austria’s Timo Hammarberg and Tim Berger 2-0 (21-15, 21-18). Norway’s Mathias Berntsen and Hendrik Mol rounded out the podium with bronze.
