Many clubs hired great foreign players for the upcoming season and one of them is also Altay VC.

After they hired Brazilian Heloiza Lacerda Pereira, two Russian players Lyudmila Khabibulina and Nataliya Sharshakova and Cuban player Yunieska Robles Batista, they made the agreement with Azerbaijan star Natalya Mammadova, Serbian libero Silvija Popovic and Croatian attacker Matea Ikic.

In the previous season, Mammadova played in Russia, she was a member of Dinamo Kazan while Popovic was in Volero Zurich and Ikic in Le Cannet.

FRA M: Ngapeth has a question for the FIVB

Organisation of OG Qualification in Poland reminds me WCh2014 as far as a timetable, referees.. It is enough to compare all schedules of home NT with other qualification groups.. Poland NT is probably currently the strongest NT in men volleyball in the world, and it does not need any such a trick... Of course, it indicates also the role of FIVB, which is orientated mainly on a profit... Reply

FRA M: Ngapeth has a question for the FIVB

um...did he protest as loudly during Italian tournaments in the past? really, if Poland was playing this tournament in France, we would have as unreasonable schedule as they had and, we too, would complain, but what does it matter? FIVB accepted the schedule, so Ngapeth can only blame his own federation for not fighting for this tournament's organization rights more. Reply
