POL W: Budowlani strengthen roster with Novara outside hitter

The two-time Polish women’s volleyball Cup and Super Cup winners, Grot Budowlani Łódź, signed the country’s national team outside hitter.


The prospect outside hitter Zuzanna Górecka joined Budowlani for 2020/21. The 20-year-old player spent the last season in the Italian league, wearing the jersey of the reigning CEV Champions League winners, Igor Gorgonzola Novara.

Górecka’s superb youth career, during which she won the Polish youth Championship twice and Polish junior Championsh once, being named MVP in each of these competitions, was crowned by receiving an invitation to compete for the Poland senior National Team last year. She was also summed to the current national team grouping.
