CHN W: Lokomotiv will have to wait, Lippmann goes back to Shanghai

The Germany National Team opposite hitter Lippmann has returned to Shanghai.

After the vicissitude caused by the sudden change of a rule in the Chinese league, which didn’t allow foreign players, both male and female, to compete in it and then removing the ban, a contract of a 26-year-old player remained valid. Thus, the 2017 German Volleyball Player of the Year is to re-live her Chinese adventure that ended in January and after which she has returned to her home country, more specifically to SSC Palmberg Schwerin, to finish the 2019/20 season (won the national Super Cup).

Recently, there was a rumor that Lippmann will join Russia’s Lokomotiv for the next season and that rumor still circulates with a modification that such a transfer might happen when the season in China finishes. Lippmann is currently in the quarantine in Shanghai after whose completion she’ll start to train.
