The Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship winners VakıfBank already turned to compose a squad for the next season.

So far it is only a rumor, but according to volleyball.it, VakıfBank are negotiating with the Dutch national team member Celeste Plak.

This season, a 23-year-old outside hitter did not manage to repeat the success that she achieved with Igor Gorgonzola Novara in the 2016/17 as her team lost the Italian Championship playoff finals to Imoco Volley Conegliano, just yesterday.

As the same website reported, VakıfBank are interested in another Dutch outside hitter, a 20-year-old Nika Daalderop, but it seems that the buy-out clause set by Il Bisonte Firenze is too high for the Turkish giants.

Daalderop is much better than Plak.
I think Plak is overrated. She has bad reception, and she is unstable on attack and serve. She is not for high level. She can play maybe in France or Germany as a basic player.
