Gaila González will once again play for Kazan’s Dinamo-Ak Bars next season. González will join her compatriot Brayelin Martínez in Kazan.
In the 2022/23 season, González showcased her prowess in Kazan, emerging as the team’s leading scorer and the fourth most impactful player in the SuperLiga. She netted an impressive 416 points across 19 championship matches, boasting a formidable 46% attack rate. Meanwhile, in the previous season, Gaila made her mark in the Turkish Sultanar Ligi while playing for Kuzeyboru.
Currently, Gonzalez and Martinez are playing for the Dominican national team in the Volleyball Nations League. Last year, Dominican Republic secured a spot in the Paris Olympic Games.
