Alessandro Bovolenta, the talented opposite hitter signed a three-year contract with Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza. This move completes the team’s opposite hitter lineup, joining fellow Italian national player Yuri Romanò.
Bovolenta, born in 2004 and standing 207 cm tall, comes from a volleyball family; his mother, Federica Lisi, was a setter, and his father Vigor Bovolenta, played for Piacenza for five seasons. Alessandro started volleyball at eleven after a promising soccer career and debuted in SuperLega with Consor Ravenna in the 2021-2022 season. He has played 64 matches over three seasons, scoring 1203 points.
