Korean outside hitter Woo-Jin Lee, born in 2005, will officially join MINT Vero Volley Monza for the 2024/2025 season.
He was named Best Outside Hitter at the U19 World Championships in Argentina in 2023. Currently, Woo-Jin is competing with the South Korean senior national team and will participate in the U20 Asian Championships in Indonesia from July 16 to 30.
Despite interest from top Korean Volleyball Federation teams, Woo-Jin chose not to enter the draft, opting instead for the opportunity in Italy to further his career. Coach Massimo Eccheli will welcome him to the team, starting with the preseason training camp.
