Prosecco DOC Imoco Volley Conegliano officially confirmed that Monica De Gennaro will remain with the club for the upcoming season, extending the career of one of the most decorated and influential players in women’s volleyball.
De Gennaro has been a constant presence at Imoco since 2013 and is set to begin her 14th season in Conegliano. Over that span, she has contributed to every major success in club history, helping secure all 29 trophies won by the Panthers.
“I will keep going as long as I enjoy playing and my body allows it,” De Gennaro said. “Conegliano is home, and I can’t imagine wearing any other colors. I will continue to give everything I have for this jersey, just as I always have.”
Club co-president Pietro Maschio praised the renewal as a strategic and symbolic decision. “Monica represents the identity of Imoco Volley. She has been central to every victory and every defining moment of our history. As long as she wants to continue, she will always be a Panther,” he said.
