Eczacıbaşı Dynavit strengthened their roster ahead of the new season with the signings of Japanese national team captain Mayu Ishikawa and Serbian outside hitter Aleksandra Uzelac.

Ishikawa, one of Japan’s leading volleyball stars, joins the Turkish club after playing for Toray Arrows, Il Bisonte Firenze and Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
Eczacıbaşı Sports Club General Manager Bilun Yılmaz said Ishikawa’s leadership and international experience would be valuable assets for the team.
“Mayu’s experience, discipline and leadership qualities will contribute greatly to our goals for the new season,” Yılmaz said.
The club has also secured the services of 20-year-old Serbian talent Aleksandra Uzelac. The outside hitter has previously represented OK Železničar, Fluminense FC and Zeren Spor Kulübü, gaining experience in Serbia, Brazil and Türkiye.
“Aleksandra is a talented player with strong potential and a competitive mentality. We believe she will bring energy and dynamism to our squad,” Yılmaz said.
