Italian champions Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano completed the return of experienced middle blocker Raphaela Folie, a decade after she first joined the club in 2016.
Folie, one of the most successful players in Conegliano’s history, returns to the Palaverde after four seasons away and will once again wear the No. 7 jersey.
The 34-year-old spent six seasons with Imoco between 2016 and 2022, helping the club establish itself among Europe’s elite. During that period, she won 15 trophies, including four Serie A titles, four Italian Cups, five Super Cups, the CEV Champions League and the FIVB Club World Championship.
After leaving Conegliano, Folie played two seasons with Vero Volley Milano before moving to the United States, where she helped Houston capture the inaugural League One Volleyball (LOVB) championship in 2025.
“Conegliano became my home,” Folie said following the announcement. “The connection with the club, my teammates and the fans has always remained strong. Returning was an easy decision, and I’m excited to be back.”
Folie added that she remains motivated to compete at the highest level and hopes to contribute both on the court and through her experience as Conegliano prepares for another campaign challenging for domestic and international honors.
