Matthew Anderson signed with Fenerbahce Istanbul, marking his return to European club volleyball after a season in Japan with Nippon Steel Sakai Blazers.

The Turkish club confirmed the move on social media, welcoming the 39-year-old outside hitter to its roster ahead of the new season.
Anderson previously played in Türkiye for Ziraat Bankkart Ankara from 2023 to 2025, helping the club win a league title and the Turkish Super Cup.
A long-time standout for the United States national team, Anderson’s international achievements include two Olympic bronze medals, a World Championship bronze, and several World League podium finishes.
