Savino Del Bene Volley Scandicci signed Canadian opposite Kiera Van Ryk ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Van Ryk arrives in Italy after helping Shanghai Bright Ubest capture the Chinese league title in 2025/26. She was one of the competition’s top performers, finishing third in scoring with 469 points in 78 sets and leading the league with 56 serve aces.
Born in 1999, Van Ryk began her volleyball career at the University of British Columbia, where she won a national championship and earned several individual awards. Since turning professional in 2019, she has played in Italy, Poland, Turkey and China.
Her club career has included spells with Volley Bergamo, DevelopRes Rzeszów, Türk Hava Yolları and VakıfBank, gaining experience across some of volleyball’s most competitive leagues and teams.
