Fenerbahçe Medicana is making bold moves ahead of the new volleyball season. According to voleybolunsesi.com, the Turkish club has finalized agreements with two standout players—Adis Lagumdzija and his brother Mirza Lagumdzija.
Adis, a powerful opposite hitter who has spent the last five seasons in Italy, will be joined by Mirza, a skilled outside hitter who most recently played for Halkbank. This marks a major reunion for the Lagumdzija brothers, who last played together during the 2019-2020 season with Arkas Spor.
Fenerbahçe, fresh off their AXA Sigorta Kupa Voley championship win, continues to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season. Mirza is born in 2001 and standing at 207 cm, he has won titles in the Balkan Cup, Turkish League (Efeler Ligi), and Turkish Cup. He has also tasted international success with Turkey’s national team, winning the Challenger Cup and the European Golden League.
This dynamic duo will now fight side by side once again, this time in the yellow and navy of Fenerbahçe Medicana.
