Sir Safety Perugia are being linked with a potential move for Russian outside hitter Dmitry Volkov, according to reports circulating in the European volleyball transfer market.

Volkov, who plays for Russian powerhouse Zenit Kazan, has remained largely out of international competition in recent seasons following Russia’s suspension, but he is still regarded as one of the most accomplished players of his generation. The 2.01-meter attacker has been part of the Russian national team setup since 2016.
His achievements include a gold medal at the 2017 European Championship, titles at the Volleyball Nations League in 2018 and 2019, and a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which were held in 2021, competing under the Russian Olympic Committee.
No agreement has been announced, and neither club has commented publicly on the reports.
