Camila Brait will wear the jersey of Osasco for the 12th straight season, which is loyalty to a club that is rarely seen in modern volleyball, as the team based in the São Paulo announced the contract renewal with a 30-year-old player.
Camila Brait arrived in Osasco at the age of only 19. In the coming years, while still defending the colors of the Brazilian powerhouse, she gained an international volleyball name, married, started a family, and became a mother.
With Osasco, Camila Brait won the title in the Brazilian Championship twice, State Championship (Paulista) eight times, South American Club Championship four times, Brazilian Cup twice and FIVB Club World Championship once. She was named Superliga Best Libero twice, FIVB Club World Championship Best Libero once, and South American Club Championship Best Libero three times. Camila Brait had a lot of successes playing for Brazil national team, winning the FIVB World Grand Prix and South American Championship three times each.
Osasco made several more signings earlier: the setter Roberta Ratzke (SESC RJ), outside hitter Ellen Braga (Dentil/Praia Clube), and middle blockers Mara Leão (Itambé/Minas) and Ana Beatriz Corrêa “Bia” (SESC RJ). They also extended with the libero Érica Lima “Kika”.
