EUROVOLLEY 2019 M: Group stage has been finished – these are the 1/8 final pairs

The group stage of the European Championship for men has been ended and we can say that we are going to watch some interesting clashes in the 1/8 finals.


First of all, Montenegro had a chance to beat the Czech Republic in three or four sets to qualify for the 1/8 finals, but they didn't manage to do it. The Montengrin boys have taken the win, but in five sets.

Jan Hadrava from the Czech Republic had a great display, scoring 39 points, saving his team at the tournament.

Czech Republic – Montengro 2-3 (23-25, 25-14, 22-25, 25-21, 13-15)

Poland – Ukraine 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-15)

RUS W: Karpol enters Guinness World Records!

Watching Nikolay Karpol and Yevgeni Trefilov (handball, head coach of the Russia women's national team) during the timeouts always made me feel sorry for these girls and was amusing at the same time.
