The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) will financially help clubs who participated in European cups this season.

Due to coronavirus pandemic that forced national federations, but also CEV, to put volleyball competitions on hold, clubs in Europe will suffer a huge financial blow. Being aware of that, the CEV decided to proceed with the payment to clubs in the amount of € 2.6 million for the matches played until the postponement of all competitions.

The CEV hasn’t decided yet if European cups will resume when the COVID-19 pandemic ends or will stop the season in total.
