Due to coronavirus pandemic that forced national federations, but also CEV, to put volleyball competitions on hold, clubs in Europe will suffer a huge financial blow. Being aware of that, the CEV decided to proceed with the payment to clubs in the amount of € 2.6 million for the matches played until the postponement of all competitions.

The CEV hasn’t decided yet if European cups will resume when the COVID-19 pandemic ends or will stop the season in total.
