Trentino have defeated the Russian side Fakel Noviy Urengoy to join Lube Civitanova in the final of the Men’s Volleyball Club World Championship.

Trentino

Even though Fakel was a team that took the lead in this game, Trentino didn’t surrender in any moment, showing much better display in the continuation of the match.

As of the start of the second team, Trentino set the control of the game, not allowing the rival to develop the game like in the first set.

Simply, the Russian side couldn’t do anything to stop the Italian team.

Uros Kovacevic was the top scorer with 18 points, while Luca Vettori contributed with 16 and Aaron Russell with 14 points and Srecko Lisinac added 11 points. On the other side, Artur Udrys had 18 points, while Dmitry Volkov had 17 points.

Men’s Club World Championship, Semifinals:

Lube – Resovia 3-1 (29-31, 25-19, 25-14, 25-23)

Fakel – Trentino 1-3 (25-22, 14-25, 16-25, 19-25)

Kovacevic started slow again but turned it on. Russell has become quite the player this year. Glad he was able to play through the discomfort.
Italian Final is incredible.
