The FIVB named Anaheim, Omaha and Orlando as U.S. host cities for the 2027 Women’s Volleyball World Cup, confirming the first venues for the 32-team tournament that will also serve as a qualifier for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

The competition will run from August 20 to September 5 across the United States and Canada, with Canadian host cities to be announced separately.
Omaha’s CHI Health Center Arena and Orlando’s Kia Center will host pool play and Round of 16 matches. The Honda Center in Anaheim will stage the quarterfinals, semifinals and final before returning to the international spotlight as the indoor volleyball venue for LA28.
The World Cup will award Olympic places to the three highest-finishing teams that have not already qualified for the 2028 Games.
Organizers said the U.S. locations were selected based on venue quality, fan support, local partnerships and their potential to expand volleyball’s audience across North America.
ION will provide 17 days of national coverage, including 19 live matches and 10 hours of studio programming, with 45 matches also set to be streamed.
Ticket prices and tournament pools are expected to be announced in mid-October. More information is available at wvwc27.org.
