Canada’s men’s national team will enter the 2027 season under new leadership after Volleyball Canada confirmed the departure of head coach Dan Lewis, who leaves the role following two international seasons and the recent Olympic qualifying campaign.

The departure follows the team’s failure to qualify for the Olympics and its relegation from the Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
Volleyball Canada Chief of Sport Kerry MacDonald acknowledged Lewis’ years of service to the national program.
“Dan has given a great deal to Volleyball Canada and to the program over the years, and I have a tremendous amount of appreciation for his contributions,” MacDonald said.
